Alishan Hotel is located in Alishan. Alishan Hotel is a 5-minute drive from Alishan Railway Station. Chiayi Railway Station can be reached in 2.5 hours. We love everything here. From the free shuttle, the friendly staff who recommended us how to explore the place with less climbing walk, for their excellent service making sure their guests have a comfortable stay (making us felt so privileged) and a fantastic experience at Alishan, free tea near lobby area to make sure guests keep them warm, room is spacious and spotless clean, the roof top observation deck is really good (you can see sky clouds, sun set, we even got to see shooting stars) there. Good breakfast and dinner.

Hotel Indigo Alishan, an IHG Hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, a garden and bar in Fanlu. This 5-star hotel offers room service and a 24-hour front desk. The rooftop swimming pool and bar had a nice view and heated water. The staff were helpful and recommended a great local restaurant nearby. The bath had tea instead of salt to put in the water, interesting touch.

One of the more modern hotels in Alishan forest area. Reasonable price. Room is small but functional. Bed is comfortable. Location is good as it is a 10 minute walk to the Alishan train station.

Dafong Hotel is just a 10-minute walk from Alishan Railway Station, where restaurants serving traditional Taiwanese delights reside. It also offers free WiFi access and private parking. The hotel has just renovated this year 2024, so everything is new and clean. The room site was slightly larger than normal hotel room in Taiwan and the bed was comfy. In the toilet, there was an automatic toilet, like Japanese toilet, and they provided 2 large towels, 2 small towels and also a bathroom mat. The staff was helpful.
