In general, the Hotel 'Loenfjord Loen' is a very good hotel that largely met our expectations.
What we liked most:
+ The location of the hotel is incredible, directly at the river 'Loelva', really close to the Loenfjord, enabling amazing views out of the hotel. A supermarket and several attractions (e. g. Loen Skylift) are just around the corner.
+ The food - the breakfast aswell as the dinner - is really delicious and versatile.
+ The room was pretty big, the beds comfortable and the view amazing.

Such a nice place to stay! Very friendly atmosphere, perfect cleanliness everywhere, comfy common spaces, beautiful garden, small but cozy rooms. It was our first experience of staying in accommodation with shared bathroom and kitchen, I was a bit worried if it would be convenient, but my worries were absolutely groundless. To be honest, I would rate this place higher than some 4 star hotels during our trip.

My husband, myself & our adult son stayed in Cecilie’s beautiful apartment just for 1 night on our road trip. The views from inside & around the property are absolutely stunning. It’s the perfect location to visit the Briksdal Glacier & to go up the skylift in Loen (amazing views). The apartment was clean & the beds comfortable. I think there were only sheer curtains in the living room where my son slept on the sofa bed , but he wore a sleep mask so he still slept ok. There is a pool & a sauna(for a fee) but we did not make use of these.

My adult daughters and I were visiting Norway and planned to drive from Bergen to Alesund. We chose the Loen because it was about half way between each city. We spent two nights at the Loen. The beds were comfortable. Food was very good considering my kids are vegetarian. Desert table was amazing. Spa area was lovely, relaxing and we spent a few hours just lounging in the waters - showere, sauna, steam, cold plunge, whirlpool etc. Pools were also fun. We also went hiking in the area. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would recommend it to anyone traveling in the area.
